There is a new sound coming out of the Pacific NorthWest!  If you track it to the source you will discover the music of  RUDE CITY  RIOT.  Start with Ska Music and add equal parts of Punk, Rock, Reggae & Soul and you get "Power-Ska".

One of Canada's most defined and familiar ska bands are receiving nods from pillars within the media community.  Rude City Riot has coined the term "PowerSka" and their media value has appreciated ever since! RCR has received positive acknowledgments from Canadian Musician Magazine, SkaSource.com, theProvince.com, and SKA Monreal to name only a few.  

The band's live show, and evolving industry attention, furnishes both venues and promoters with a band who can couple R.O.I and consumer loyalty. Rude City Riot has roots within the Rock, Punk, Reggae and Soul genres but all members have a deep love for all forms of Ska Music.
All these influences combined with the band's impressive musicianship have morphed into a sound that RCR fans are calling "POWER-SKA"

Currently RCR are in the studio recording of their first full length LP scheduled for release in spring 2011 on Stomp Records.
