Socially conscious, lyrically poetic, rife with apocalyptic symbolism; All Else Fails is poised to take our world by storm. Playing an aggressively dark blend of Punk, Metal, and Rock, this well established Edmonton based band breaks the traditional ideals of their genre by producing music infused with experimental elements, incorporating Classical music, Electronica influenced synth lines, and spoken word sampling. This is metal for a new audience, one that’s ready for what’s beyond the ordinary.
Their inspired high-energy live show sets them apart from their peers, often drawing comparisons to The Holly Springs Disaster and Killswitch Engage.

Betrayer is unlike any hard rock/metal band in this day and age. These Canadian rockers offer a unique classic vocal style and thrashy riffs that will take you back to when metal was at its finest. In 1996, lead singer and guitarist Jeff Klingbeil and drummer Shawn Bastien formed the band and thereafter William Lozon (guitar) and Sinan Khalaf (bass) completed the line-up.
They produced their first LP "Rusted Icons" in 2001. In 2005, EP "Shadowed Force" was released and in 2007 they released a single “Headed for Disaster” which was featured on BW&BK’s Knuckle Tracks and also gained regular airplay on Detroit’s 101.1 FM WRIF.

Born from the creative mind of rhythm guitarist David Paquette, Mortor began as a solo project that soon turned into a full-fledged band following Paquette’s move from Montreal to Ottawa.
Founded in 2008, Mortor began sculpting and fine-tuning their metal sound while writing and playing live shows with one goal in mind: to bombard the world of extreme metal with their fresh, raw sound.
Heading into the studio, the band’s fervor while recording was only matched by the viciousness of their attack on the local thrash scene. The resulting album, Metal Ride, was unleashed onto a rowdy crowd during Rockfest 2010.

Dubai may be known as a city rich in history, a business hub and the home of the tallest structure in the world, but it’s also the birthplace of the first death metal band to come out of the Middle East.
Dubai is where, in the late 1990s, guitarist Alex Zubair and drummer Alan Madhavan came together to form Nephelium, guided by the sole vision of a band comprised of equal parts complexity and brutality.
Staying true to the roots of death metal, Nephelium was quick to forge ahead with experimentation, pulling in influences from metal and other genres.

In 1999, three brothers began making music together. Joel, Adam, and Tim Parent, (the Triad in Blood) at the ages of 15, 13 and 11 respectively, came to the end of the century with distinctly different musical preferences despite a lifelong proximity. The trio, being so diverse in influence, opted not to unify a functional idiom for their evolving mix of music. Instead they chose to simply include all of their stylistic preferences in one colossal cauldron. The result was a seven year soup of ska, grunge, hardcore, metal, reggae. funk, surf and jazz that eventually became known as Ninjaspy in 2006.

Formed in late 2008, Scythia is a mosaic of many influences that combines storytelling, costumes, and heavy music. But this isn’t just grindcore in medieval garb… Scythia weaves folklore with double kick, detuned guitars with neo-classical melodies and catchy riffs with classical oboe playing. It is a musical experience that stands apart from all others.

Following their second full-length studio release “Retake the Throne,” METAL MANIACS described The New Jacobin Club as being “Somewhere between the realms of mid-era Judas Priest in a straightforward rock/metal style and newer era Misfits vocally and visually.”
Their third album entitled “Wicked City” (SSS Records/Scratch, 2006) has proven that although they are well known for their distracting attire and energy charged live show, this group is also an artistic musical force to be reckoned with.

There’s something to be said for fate in the music world. One moment you’re left with the skeleton of a band, unsure when you’ll be able to follow your calling again, the next you’ve got a whole new line-up, a brand new home, a stronger, more defined sound and are recording with some of the biggest names in the industry. This is the tale of The Rabid Whole.
Disenchanted with playing in bands whose music was unchallenging and run of the mill, vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Andreas Weiss set out to remedy his predicament. Purchasing an arsenal of music and noise-making gadgets, he began writing songs for his own band’s 2009 debut album, Autramaton.

Fed up with failed projects and dealing with the drama of musical differences, brothers Brian (guitar/vocals) and Kyle Gamblin (guitar/backup vocals) decided to start their own musical project in 2008 – Titans Eve. The lineup was completed with the recruitment of Jesse Hord (bass) and Casey Ory (drums), and the Vancouver-based band set out to create honest, powerful modern metal.
Deciding to base the sound and feel of their upcoming debut album, 'The Divine Equal', on themes from the famous 17th century poem Paradise Lost and The Book of Genesis, the Gamblin brothers strove to extend these themes and relate them to life's everyday struggles. All while staying true to their personal interpretations of metal.
