Jared Fowler started his entertainment career in acting, between stage and commercial placements he realized early that he loved performing for others to enjoy. As a 12 year-old boy attending his Grandmother’s funeral he listened to his grandmother’s music being played at the service, he realized that his horizon was much larger than just acting.

Jared began his music career by starting on the banjo and then 3 years later trading up to the acoustic rhythm guitar to more fully attract the opposite gender. Fowler continued to pursue his music, taking his guitar across America, playing in every state from Washington to Arkansas.

In 2005, Jared retuned to his music after working in Northern BC’s Peace Country for 2 years, and continued playing at local festivals, café’s and restaurants. In October 2009 he began recording his debut EP 'Vancouver Rain' recorded in the Fraser Valley studio Tree Stump Studios with Joel Noftle producing the 6 track album.  In March 2010 releasing the album and touring BC with 11 incredibly well received dates and then a second tour performing across western Canada, including a stop at Merritt BC’s famed Iron Mountain Music Capital stage, raising funding in support of AIDS research.

Jared will be taking 2011 off from touring and focusing on recording his second album which is set to release in summer of 2012 as well as a 2 month long cross-Canada tour from Vancouver Island to Newfoundland.

In 2010 Jared was chosen as the official selection for Syllabus music agency radio play in the UK and was also given an honorable mention in Artist Forum International song writing competition. Jared has been featured on CBC Radio 3 Internet and live radio broadcast across British Columbia. Jared has also been featured in BC Songwriters Association Showcase 3 times since 2009.
