GlennRoss Studios, SaskatoonFor more than eighteen years, Glenn Ens has run one of Saskatchewan's leading audio and post-production facilities. Initially established in 1985 as Audio Art, it first gained success through the province's music industry, as it became known as a first-rate production facility amongst recording artists.

By 1990, the company began taking on more corporate projects, including the composition and production of various radio and television theme campaigns an by 1995, it had expanded to become a full-service audio post-production facility.

Glenn Ens

Recording engineer/producer/ musician, Glenn started playing drums and percussion at an early age. His love of performing music led him across Canada on countless occasions and into the studio to play on numerous albums. In 1984, he co-founded Audio Art Recording Studio. As Audio Art continued to grow, so did Glenn's skill as a producer and engineer. Corporate clients began taking an interest and by 1995, Audio Art had become a national level full service audio post-production facility. In 2010 Audio Art Recording joined forces with Cosmic Pad Studios to become GlennRoss Studios.

Ross Nykiforuk

Composer/producer/engineer recorded and toured with Virgin recording artists “The Northern Pikes.” This included touring Canada/United States and recording projects in facilities ranging from A&M Studios in Los Angeles to The Metalworks Studios in Toronto.

Through this studio experience with the group he became actively involved in the musical arranging and recording. While completing his studies at the University of Saskatchewan, Ross began working on film scoring and corporate music. He has won the SMPIA Award (Saskatchewan Motion Picture Association) for Best Film Score and the Blizzard Award (Manitoba Film Association) in the same category in 1995.

His producing and arranging talents received first prize in the 1999 National Songwriting Competition. Ross’music has been heard internationally on numerous specials for the Discovery Channel including 39 episodes of the acclaimed nature series “Cotter’s Wilderness Trails” as well as other feature documentaries for the CBC, CTV and Global television networks. He is currently one of the composers for the Gemini award winning series “Incredible Story Studio.”

Additional Features

GlennRoss Studios, SaskatoonThe studio is equipped with a 5-piece Canwood/Yamaha drum kit, Hammond M3 organ and 147 Leslie rotary speaker, 5-guitars, 2-guitar amps, 2-keyboards, 2 sound modules, and various percussion instruments.

The studio rooms are acoustically treated with Sonex acoustic foam, 3 different custom built oak sound diffusers. The control rooms are treated with Sonex acoustic foam and custom built oak diffuser/absorber panels throughout each control room.
